unfortunately nothing to backup my claim, but it's a gut feeling ;o)) - but can't you understand that when you find that M$ have made it possible to use Outlook on Domino, and that they supply (better) migration tools than IBM - one tends to be depressed! - Search IBM's website and you'll find 0 about migrating from exchange 2007 to domino (latest is 2003) - Why haven't IBM already constructed a tool to take care of the 2007 version also?! - sometime ago - a very long time ago, there lived a company called Betamax and Phillips, they both made videotapes - superior to the VHS tape system, but what good did it do them to be better than VHS, we both know the latter won.
Maybe IBM should try to take a more M$ kind of approach and make the Notes client free? and make it able to connect to an exchange server, make people use it - make it easy for them to use it all over (free) - pay the mobile phone vendors to supply Notes compatiblity with every release of new smartphones etc. - advertise more, sponsor the WorldCup football - I dont' know, just dont' sit back and say - we have a great product - you do, but ordinary people are used to Outlook not Notes, and sometimes it's the ordinary people that make administrators change/migrate - damnit I miss my Domino and Notes ;o((
